Friends are Forever

Just watched the finale episode of Friends. Overwhelming. Reminded me of the time when we emptied our home and were ready to leave for the new destination. I somehow controlled my tears and decided to finally sit down & jot down what I have been feeling.

After selling our house, we stayed with our friends for few days. The understanding was mutual without any of us saying clearly where we would be putting up after becoming "homeless". We'll be grateful to them for giving us shelter. The stay was great and it made us came closer to each other. All the past things were, well, past. I mean the bad things. poof... vanished. The bond got stronger.
Then there was a surprise farewell for us that left us speechless. All I could do then was hug my Aunty, my friends and cry. All the friends were there to say goodbye to us, to show their affection. We thanked them over & over but the words are not enough, were never enough. It was a great party with great people around us.

Everytime we talk on phone or FB, we tell each other how much we miss them or the vice-versa. But that's all we can do. We just wait for their visit to India or may be the other way round.

Watching Friend's finale was very emotional as I could relate to it. And it made me sad again because the thing we lack is that we are not in the same country or state. The distance is too much to cover for each get-together, every party but we manage to get together, in spirits offcourse :)
Someone said right, Friends are forever.
